One is the Brahmin or Brahmanic tradition which was not native to India; it is an Aryan tradition that was brought into India from somewhere in Central Asia. It merged with the local tradition, which is the Dravidian tradition, which is the tradition native to South India where I am from. The Angali tradition is native to this Dravidian tradition, the whole tradition. It was not embraced by the Aryan Brahmanic tradition, the tradition that came later on. It is not mainline Hinduism. Mainline Hinduism is more like the Protestant religion, more elite, but lacking substance. I personally side with the Angali tradition.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p> <!-- .et_pb_text --><\/p>\n<div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_11 et_pb_bg_layout_light  et_pb_text_align_left\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\">\n<h3>Goddess Angali Gives Easily<\/h3>\n<p>Goddess Angali is not sophisticated. She has no philosophy; she is pure consciousness. She can give you things without having to do any practice. You just pray to her, she is so full of compassion. All that you have to do is say, &#8220;Give me that,&#8221; and she will give unlike other sophisticated, elite Goddesses. Dr. Pillai first discovered Karuppasamy while traveling in a village. He was guided to witness a channeling of this god by an ordinary villager. He watched as the villager performed miracle after miracle, including making the blind to see, the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak. Since that time, Dr. Pillai has blessed others to channel Lord Karuppasamy<\/p>\n<p>While he is typically considered a village god, Dr. Pillai has revealed he is actually a primordial god who is extremely powerful. He is believed to be a combination of the fierce gods Rudra, Narasimha, Kalabhairava, and Veerabhadra. As Dr. Pillai has revealed, they get their power to perform miracles from the Goddess Angali. It is one of Dr. Pillai\u2019s favorite places to take students.<\/p>\n<p>It is said once, when Lord Shiva cut off the 5th head of the creator God, Brahma\u2019s head, he was forced to roam the earth plane with it stuck to his hand, as it was considered to be the sin known as &#8220;Brahma Dosha.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>While roaming, he arrived at a village and the caretaker of the village, not knowing it was Lord Shiva, put him in jail. Realizing the next day who it was, the caretaker begged Lord Shiva to pardon him. Lord Shiva told the man to go to a certain place and worship Goddess Kali in her &#8220;arupa&#8221; (formless) form, and guard her, to relieve his sin. The man went there with all of his assistants and soldiers to stay permanently.<\/p>\n<p>While worshipping Goddess Kali, he once asked her why she remained formless. The Goddess told him at the right time, she would take a form. Years later, when the time was right for her to manifest, a temple was built for her with a beautiful statue. That temple is the Angala Parameshwari temple, and the city which it was built in is now called Royapuram.<\/p>\n<p>This is the location where the famous Angali Siddha, Venkataraman, the 1001st teacher of chief Siddha, Agastya\u2019s, unbroken spiritual lineage of Satgurus was initiated by his Guru. According to his site, www.agasthiar.org<a href=\"http:\/\/www.agasthiar.org\"><\/a>, the Siddha Venkataraman used to circle this temple 1,008 times every day before meeting with his Guru. In doing so, he was able to have a special \u2018darshan\u2019 (Divine sight) of the Goddess and receive her blessings. There is a special pillar here where his Guru used to lean on and reveal all the secrets of the siddhas to the then 8-year-old Venkataraman. This pillar is called a &#8220;Maha Guru Shakti Pillar,&#8221; which is referred to by the Siddha Venkataraman as the &#8220;Guru-disciple nucleus of the world.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It is said the innumerable siddhas have taken up residence in the granite pillars within and surrounding the Maha Guru Shakti Pillar located here.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Dr. Pillai has revealed a secret about a small stone that resides at the back of the temple. The reason can be understood by reading the mythology of how this temple came to be, which is related to that of Royapuram\u2019s temple.<\/p>\n<p>Once Lord Shiva cut off the head of Brahma, not only did it stick to his hand, but he also received a curse from Brahma\u2019s consort, Saraswati, to wander the earth plane with it with no sleep, and hunger only quenched by bone.<\/p>\n<p>She then cursed Parvati to also roam the earth plane, but as an ugly person attended only by demons. While Parvati was roaming, she met the sage Kapil in Thiruvanamalai who guided her to take a bath in the holy water there which relieved her curse.<\/p>\n<p>She then came to Melmalayanur. Here, she created a snake hive and resided there as a five-headed snake. While here she gave her darshan to some fisherman and instructed them to worship her daily as she will save them and their future generations. The king at the time heard about the worship and tried to destroy the hive. Parvati stopped him and gave him her darshan also. The king then donated land to build her a temple here.<\/p>\n<p>The story goes that one day, Lord Shiva, still afflicted with Brahma\u2019s head and Saraswati\u2019s curse, appeared in front of the temple and asked for food. Upon hearing his voice, Parvati became happy and invoked Vishnu to guide her on how to relive her husband\u2019s curse.<\/p>\n<p>Lord Vishnu advised her to create some tasty food and serve the first two parts to Brahma\u2019s head, which was stuck to Shiva\u2019s hand, then drop some on the floor by mistake, that way when the head comes down she should squeeze it.<\/p>\n<p>She did as Lord Vishnu suggested. Once the head came down to eat the dropped food, she is said to have assumed a giant form as Angala Paramehswari. Then, with her right foot, she crushed Brahma\u2019s head, finally freeing Lord Shiva from his curse.<\/p>\n<p>Lord Shiva was so happy; it is said he went to Chidambaram to dance. Arunachala is considered to be Lord Shiva in the form of fire. There are several temples in this area, two of which Dr. Pillai intends on taking you are below.<br \/> The first temple is the Arunachaleswarar temple. This temple in its current form is considered to be thousands of years old. It is believed at the beginning of creation, Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma once engaged in an argument about who the greatest of the two was. Lord Shiva was asked to be the judge. He said whomever can see my crown and feet is the greatest. He then transformed himself into a massive column of divine light called &#8220;jyothi,&#8221; which touched both heaven and earth.<br \/> Lord Vishnu assumed the form of a boar and dug deep into the earth to find Lord Shiva\u2019s feet. Eventually, he had to accept defeat as he could not find them. Lord Brahma took the form of a swan and ascended into the sky to find Lord Shiva\u2019s crown. While flying, he saw a falling flower which had once been placed on Lord Shiva\u2019s head. He asked the flower how long it had been falling, and the flower told him 40,000 years! Brahma realized he would not be able to reach the crown, so he asked the flower to lie and say he saw it. The flower did, and Lord Shiva became infuriated. He cursed Brahma that he would not have any temples on earth.<br \/> This place, where Lord Shiva became a column of fire to dissolve the ego, is known as Mt. Arunachala. Later, after prayers from Lord Vishnu and Brahma, Lord Shiva transformed himself from a column of fire into a Shivalingam at the foot of the mountain. It is located on Dr. Pillai\u2019s own property in Chennai. Dr. Pillai had previously purchased the property with the intention of building a home on it in the future. However, in early 2019, Dr. Pillai was inspired to dedicate it to the Goddess Brzee.<br \/> It is the first Brzee prayer center in modern times, where a six-foot statue of the Goddess Brzee, which is made of a special clay, resides. However, even more recently, Dr. Pillai was inspired by the Goddess Angali to build her a seven-foot statue to reside there as well. It was consecrated during a special New Moon, which Dr. Pillai mentioned was something like a birthday for her. The timing was, according to Dr. Pillai, extremely relevant as the descent of Goddess Angali to help humanity.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Pillai was deeply involved in bringing both of these statues to life. It is an architectural masterpiece of the highest order, containing over 33 million sculptures on the premises.&nbsp; According to some, the temple was originally built by survivors of the &#8220;Indian Atlantis&#8221; known as &#8220;Kumari Kandam&#8221; \u2013 an extension of what is now known as South Indian that was submerged under the ocean during a deluge.<\/p>\n<p>There are ever so many miracles and mythologies associated with this powerful vortex, with cameos from different gods and siddhas. According to different sources, it is believed there are up to 16 siddhas currently residing here, although hidden, in samadhi, or deep meditation. This is the location where the great siddha, Sundarar Nathar, whom is connected to Dr. Pillai, performed many miracles including making a stone elephant here come to life.<\/p>\n<p>The mythology of the temple involves Goddess Parvati as Meenakashi, and Lord Shiva as Sundareswarar. One of the Kings of the Pandyan dynasty, an ancient royal dynasty in South Indian, was unable to conceive of a child to succeed him. He and his wife prayed to Lord Shiva. Afterwards, during a fire ceremony, a young girl emerged from the fire. She had three breasts and fish-like eyes and was thus named &#8220;Meenakashi,&#8221; or &#8220;fish-eyed.&#8221; It was prophesied that her third breast would disappear once she found her husband.<\/p>\n<p>She became a great warrior. Her father invited all the princes and possible suitors to come and seek her hand in marriage. She had a condition that she would marry the one who could defeat her in a duel. Nobody could beat her, and thus her father was forced to allow her to take the throne despite it being against tradition for a woman to rule. While on what was said to be her last military conquest, near Mt. Kailash, she met a man who turned out to be none other than Lord Shiva. Her third breast disappeared, fulfilling the prophesy of finding her husband. It has several unique features, including 18 steps and massive doors. There is just the sword of Karuppasamy located inside the sanctum sanctoram. The darshan (radiation) of him here is so intense, the doors remain shut all but one day per year. On this day, a strange phenomenon is said to happen. The jungles around the temple, which are usually alive with bird calls, go silent. Not a single bird can be found near the temple, and the temperature increases to above average heat.<\/p>\n<p>During the rest of the time, the doors themselves are worshipped. This is connected to a mythology behind the temple.<\/p>\n<p>Once there was a king from another area known as Malabar who desired a solid gold idol that was housed here. He had 18 mighty men trained in occult powers and warfare, and sent them here. They were accompanied by the guardian deity of Malabar, who was known as Malayala Karappu.<\/p>\n<p>They eventually reached the place and engaged in combat with the priests of the temple. The priests defeated the men and buried the men just outside the main doors as a symbol of their victory.<\/p>\n<p>It is said next, the priests heard a rustle of air and lo and behold, a mighty figure materialized in front of them. The figure was a giant man dressed as a warrior with a long sword, matted locks, and deep black in complexion.&nbsp; It was none other than Malayala Karappu, or Lord Karuppasamy himself.<\/p>\n<p>He informed them he was very impressed with their loyalty and bravery in defending the temple. He then promised them, as a gift, to guard the temple until the end of times. Once, during the end of an age, Lord Brahma, the creator god, asked Lord Shiva where he should restart the creation from.<\/p>\n<p>Lord Shiva advised him to create a pot and put into it sand collected from various locations, then float it on the water which now covered the world.<\/p>\n<p>The pot eventually stopped at a place. Lord Shiva came and shot it with an arrow, and the nectar within the pot spread in all directions. Where the pot was shot, the nectar mixed with the sand and became a Shiva Lingam. It is this Shiva Lingam that the Adi Kumbeshwara temple is built around.
