The Full Moon of the Guru (Guru Purnima) is a very special time, not only for students, but also for gurus. It is a time when the Gurus, who are eternally living, descend from the galaxies to the Earth plane to help human beings who are lost in their own mindset and understanding merge with Divine Consciousness.
Day 1 of the retreat opens July 26 on Surya (Sun) Pradosham, a powerful Sunday evening when the Sun and Shiva energies come together to remove karma, dissolve ego, and awaken Divine Consciousness.
Dr. Pillai is deeply connected to the Sun God. In Tamil, his birthname, Baskaran means “the one who produces light” or “one who gives us light.” The Guru comes as the light of enlightenment that can help you transcend the body, transcend the mind, transcend the ego, and awaken to your true Self.
