According to scriptures, Vaikunta Ekadasi is the only day of the year when Vishnu opens access to his celestial abode of abundance and prosperity.

WHO IS VISHNU?
In the Indian tradition, Vishnu is the God of wealth because he is also the husband of Lakshmi. He is responsible for creating matter and material existence.
Vishnu, Shiva, and Brahma form the Holy Hindu Trinity. Vishnu is revered as the preserver and protector of the universe and incarnates whenever balance must be restored.
Ancient texts such as the Upanishads and Puranas praise Vishnu as omnipresent, pervading all beings and the fountain of all knowledge.
Vishnu is easily pleased with sincere prayers. Chanting Vishnu mantras is traditionally associated with health, happiness, and prosperity.
